Not sure why you are considering him a liability. He still has some game left in him. Just 2 years ago, he registered 74 tackles, 2 sacks, and 7 interceptions.

He could find a place on the defense in the nickel or at safety. And with the pass rush we usually develop, he could make some plays just like everyone else did last year.
