What in the hell...

I could've understood UNC, FSU, or UK, but Kansas? When they hell did they get in the picture?

literally everyone on espn picked fsu or kansas for a bit now.

Kansas won't have the supporting cast of UNC/UK. So yes, it is a HUGE surprise

exactly why it's not a surprise. perfect situation for kansas to get him this year. any other year, we would have had no shot.

Sorry Kansas

ummm, i think you have something confused here. we actually got wiggins. i understand it's tough every year to watch your team get sent home by kansas, but it's ok. maybe this year, you wont have to play us.

Stupidest post Ive ever seen.

Going to one of the best basketball schools in the country means he isnt a fierce competitor? fricking idiotic.

Typical tarhole post.

I don't know that I ever called Wiggins to Kansas. I thought he would end up at FSU.

Now Cal has to figure out whether he wants to start James Young or Alex Poythress at the 3/4. Not a bad problem to have.

Like I posted earlier.

He wants to Kevin Durant (with a better coach obviously) in college than Anthony Davis imo.

Meaning he wants to score 20-25 a game. He'll certainly have a better chance at KU than at UNC (Roy's system) or UK (Loaded)

Kansas was clearly coming in late until all the comments that start popping up last night. PLENTY of people, people who are "in the know", are shocked by Kansas.

That said, most have also said all along that everyone was just grasping at straws. Wiggins and his family has played it close to the vest for quite some time. Anyone who says they did know is FOS.

Guess they said that off-air. Kansas really doesn't provide much except a little more talent than FSU, and gives him the opportunity to control the ball. He probably just wants to shoot. I'd be pissed if I were a KU senior. No shots for them.

The ONE downside to a top flight one and done going to Kansas...

Is some can get "Self'd"

Josh Selby/Xavier Henry

Now obviously AW is more talented than those guys. But I hope Self doesnt try and fit AW into the system...but instead build the system around him.

Yep... ...no pressure at Kansas.

School just broke the bank to buy and build a memorial to the original rules of basketball. I think they take things seriously and KU is on TV all the time.

If he really is the next Lebron, the KU seniors will have plenty of open shots.

He probably wanted to stay close to his brother. I know there mom wanted them too. That drive from Lawrence to Kansas is a quick one down I-35. I've done it more time then I can count.

The next Lebron stuff is cracking me up though. Some people have said he's the best recruit since Lebron. He'll do very well at Kansas but I don't see him being the next Lebron.

you guys sure are talking a lot about kansas for how little you know about them

This. There won't be a next LeBron, especially Wiggins. That's no discredit to Wiggins' talent because he is a great player, but those expectations need to stop because it just won't happen

Well hell, how many seniors will you have on the team next year?

Just looked. Basically none

Bill Self players really do have a surprising lack of success in the NBA, especially the big men, considering all the blue chip prospects he brings in.
