Where do you want to live?

I have a friend that does real estate that would be happy to help if it's in the downtown area. she could probably put you in touch with someone in other areas of the city

Honestly it depends on which job comes through. They're both downtown (same building actually), but one is probably about 60 hr/w and the other is probably anywhere between 80 and 90. If I end up with the latter, I want to be downtown, if I end up with the former, I'm more comfortable living uptown, downtown, or potentially even the Quarter.

So, I really haven't decided yet, but I've become recently become really fascinated by the idea of taking the streetcar to work everyday and just riding it all over the place like a f'n boss. If I can get a place on St Charles between Napoleon and Louisiana (#mardigrasreasons), I'll be pretty ecstatic. I saw a couple pop up, I just can't move on them until I get an offer. If by some act of personal terror they both fall through, I've really got no choice but to go back to Houston.

I thought I'd be in Houston for another 2 years, I had just started my second job there back in September and was expecting that to really be the final piece of the puzzle. Then I got laid off 4 months later.

I figured I'd come back and look and see what was out there now with a few more years of experience tacked on, and it looks like it might work out swimmingly.
