He went to ESJ. Would have been one of the highest recruited WRs in the country if he didn't have academic issues.

He went to a different school his freshman year. None of his credits transferred from that school. So basically he was a year behind credit wise and they rated him a 3 star because of that. Most experts considered him a 5 star back then

He was the best wr in the state, better than Landry and OBJ but he had absolutely no shot at qualifying so he wasn't ranked nor did he have offers

Those of us who saw him in high school knew he was special. He was a bigger, better Rueben Randle. He even did some wildcat in HS. Best WR I've ever watched in person at that level

so he's julio jones/megatron type player?

He actually reminds me of Dez Bryant in terms of his style and physical ability.

So were his test scores ok?

Situation seems weird, like he could have qualified after a year instead of a few years, eh?

He was at the unacredited school linger than one year. But also, if you don't qualify out of HS and you got to JUCO, you have to graduate fro JUCO to be eligible for D1.

I've seen his JUCO highlights...but I can't seem to find his high school highlights anywhere. Anybody?

He'll graduate in December. His grades were never a problem...he lost all his credits when he transferred to ESJ. He has a 3.3 GPA right now.

How do you lose your credits just because you switch high schools? Seems like the school itself could have helped the kid out if that is the case considering he would have had to have been their best football player.

He didn't lose any credits when he transferred. The school he was at prior to ESJ wasn't accredited. He didn't actually start earning credits until he left there.

I guess this is what I am asking. What the hell kind of high school isn't accredited? Bill Dick's school of learnen young folks? Where was he going before?

Make no mistake about it, gentlemen. The qb that will be throwing to D'Q will be one Anthony Jennings I watched him here in person, and on the news. Kid has everything. Book smarts, football smarts, above average arm, good wheels. I believe we got the steal of ga when they targeted Brice Ramsey and not AJ. He can do it all. I've seen him throw, run, catch td's. He is an Ath that is blessed enough to really throw the football. No, I don't coach or recruit. JMHO.

I agree with you 100% and judging by what he has already done in the past few weeks, I could see him earning the position. Let's see how it plays out though before we jump to conclusions for the 2014 season. We don't know how he will transition from a high school defense to an SEC defense...I am rooting for him for sure tho!
