EG/Lopez for Bledsoe/Butler/Jordan , which works financially in the event that the Clippers extend CP3, makes us better than we were last season when EG missed a bunch of time, but I think it lowers our ceiling as EG is still the best player in that group. I think Benson is going to be antsy for us to make some noise and take a step up into the playoffs. 75+ games of a fairly efficient, 20ppg scoring EG gives us the best shot. Plus the trade leaves us with a pretty significant hole at SG, which is a tougher position to fill than PG. Keeping EG could set us back 2 years, but so could Bledsoe not adjusting to full time starter.
