Considering that this was the first time Lopez was really given consistent minutes, I think it is probably more indicative of his career. Also, they've both had time to improve their games, so current trajectory would seem important.

Irrelevant when looking at the Per 36 stat. His Block stat this year for Per 36 is fairly consistent with his entire career, whether he was getting minutes or not.

Deandre's has been better Per 36 throughout his career. I wouldn't say because he had 2.0 per 36 this year and 3 of the previous 4 years he was much higher says anything about his "trajectory".

Scoring and FT shooting are a completely different argument.
