That may be part of the reason but I'm sure they also did it because the first half was a bore. Still no excuse. I was pissed they did ask Fran about being voted out twice or even mention Brandon gate.

Rob is using a cover story. He also said he is "moving" and won't have internet for weeks despite podcasting almost every day for the last 3 years. BTW, I wish they didn't waste time with twitter comments and interviewing little girls in the crowd and actually focused on the actual players.

Next year will be the first time a Big Brother player will be on Survivor (Hayden is Kat's bf). I bet we will see Evil Dick in the future if Hayden does well. Oh, and Redemption Island is back.

This shite makes me rage. RI and SP were two of the worst seasons in the history of the show. One of the best things about Phillipines (and Caramoan) was the return of the reward challenges.
From what I've heard, Probst was against the family twist, so RI was brought back to placate him.

Also RI was brought back to bring out the emotions of family members having to watch their family suffer. Of course when Laura gets voted out, Rupert will wail.

How much do you want to bet that when either Kat or Hayden get voted out that Hayden will pop the question to her? I could see production even letting him bring the ring as a luxury item.

They will go out of the way not to have a tribe mix up too so something like this can happen. They've been together for awhile. When I saw them in person, they were all lovey-dovey. I am still pissed Rob C isn't on.
