And I'm pretty hooked.

Recent purchases include:
Hank Jr
George Jones
Johnny cash
Dwight Yoakam
Conway Twitty
Jamey Johnson

Any fans have some suggestions to feed my new addiction?

Good stuff. Jamey Johnson's version of Set Em Up Joe got nothing on Verne Gosdin.

Set em up joe brings backs memories of my cousin and I sneaking beer from our uncles house when we were about 15. Ironically, we would listen to Solid Gold Saturday Night on the radio and they would ALWAYS play that song.

Check out Sturgill Simpson. He's newer but he plays that old gold style.

Posted Webb earlier

In the Old Timey thread I posted Webb, Jimmie and the original version by blues singer Blind Blake.

Original recorded version that is -- it's probably an old minstrel show routine

Classic country? Don't think so if your list includes Hank Jr, Yoakam & Jamie Johnson.

Welcome to the world of great music. Your off to a good start.
