Spotify problem: logging in

i am trying to log on to my account with my new computer. I am not exactly sure what the username is but i know the email address. I go to page to reset the password or username and i put in the email, then it says "it appears i am logging in with facebook credentials" but i am not.
Any help? been working on this for an hour.

and you didn't sign up for it using Facebook, you said? if that's the case, then I have no earthly idea.

i have an old free account with my email used for facebook but this account im trying to access is a different email and its premium
