I'd definitely look at the Sig P238/938. I have the 238 and wish I would have gotten the 938 instead of the LC9. I can shoot the LC9 pretty good but you have to really pay attention to your trigger pull b/c the break is all the way in the back. I'm sure the LCP is the same way.
