That is going to be an awkward bump for you in a couple months from now.

I highly, highly doubt it.

Marte isn't going anywhere, Gomez will produce what I said earlier or close to it, he's always been a good for average hitter who found his power late last year which is why his stock was so high.

And Wainwright will be a Cy Young finalist.

I picked Wainwright to be the NL Cy Young. He is legit.

Dexter Fowler is the NL Austin Jackson. Perceived base stealer (he's not) bc he's black.Below average power. Decent contact hitter who will score runs due to studs hitting behind them.

Fowlers FB/hr is something absurd like 60% this season while his career is under 10% (which sucks). He already hurt like he is every season

Yup, Marte is just beasting.

Love his game, average power speed.

Him and Segura are just money.

Marte is young Carl Crawford IMO.

I'm no Gomez fan. But I did read an interesting piece about how impressive his last 162 are.

I like both Marte and Gomez. But lets be honest, neither are going to play any better than they are now. Their value will never be higher.

So for me, I'm selling if someone is buying. Especially in non keeper leagues. I'm flipping them for the Jay Bruces, the Cain's, the Greinkes, Granderson, hamiltons, Stanton's, laroches, McCutcheon, Pujols etc. Guys who's numbers you know will be there in the end. That's just me doe.

And before anyone tells me they can't get that kind of return on those guys I say bullshite. I've been reading these trade threads for years on this board.

I'm adding SP Jorge De La Rosa for a spot start this week. Zero earned runs his last 2 starts (Yankee's & Cardinal's)and had a no hitter going against St Louis for seven innings. He's hot right now so I'm giving him a shot against the Giants.

Has 1B Loney been added in y'alls leagues? His batting average is impressive if anything.

Thoughts on Ike Davis? He continues to be crap so far, but IIRC he was a monster starting in June last year. I drafted and have held him on my bench, but definitely getting an itchy trigger finger...

How do you feel about ShelBOW Miller for Cain, G?

I like Miller but couldn't afford the potential innings cap come crunch time.

Just dropped him today to add an extra OF.

If you need power and have patience, he'll give you some bombs, but that's probably it.

I don't really see what he gives. His minor league numbers were up and down and he doesn't have any stand out category.

That said, SS is awful thin.

Fair.

I'm having a hard enough time scooping up SS scraps in 10-teamers.

I have him in a couple of leagues.

I'm bullish on him, minus the power.

Mitch Moreland.

On pace for around 30 homers which would be easily a career high. HR/FB ratio being the exact same as it was last year. He's just hitting more fly balls

His AVG, OBP and OPS are all up this year with virtually the exact same BABIP that he has had in years past.

His K% is slightly down and his BB% is slightly up - a good sign.

And most importantly - his splits are there: 286/345/449 vs LHP; 288/338/545 vs RHP

If Moreland is available in your league, go pick him up immediately.

2 more bombs tonight after one last night

Andrew Bailey is expected to come off the DL early next week. He was pretty dominant as the Red Sox closer before the injured biceps.

12.1 innings, 1 win, 5 saves, 20 Ks, 1.46 ERA, 0.81 WHIP

He is available in 38% of Yahoo leagues, so maybe one of you guys is playing with some dummies like me. The funny thing is he clearly slipped through the cracks. Somebody had too many players on the DL, and hoped none of us would notice him. Usually everyone mentioned on the board is gone in my league.
