Alarm went off, got up to turn it off, laid back down for a moment...

That moment turned into 40 minutes of extra sleep. So yeah, I was late this morning.

You RUINED A MONSTER by adding the nasty tea to it. I judge you now.

Haven't seen HCB this morning. He must not be on the open shift for Taco Bell this morning.

We can bitch bout the lack of runs, but if Ibarra's shot back to the pitcher goes thru, we're in the middle of big inning potentially. And if he does not hold his glove just so, the ball gets thru & we have a run in & runners at the corners.Bregman & Jones both hit shots to the warning track that probably been HR's if not for the heavy weather. It's called the luck of the baseball gods. Now, Ross is hitting in a potentially run producing position & he's in another slump that has lasted all season for the most part. Their ace beat our Sunday starter, only by one run & that run was unearned. Shite happens over the course of a difficult SEC season.

If's and but's....

How about we just give A&M credit for playing a great game? Mengden got it done, great play by their SS going deep to his right, two great catches by the LF, meanwhile two LSU infielders were shooting themselves in the foot on D late in the game trying to do too much. Cody Glenn fielded his position magnificently, I am not sure either Nola or Eades could have done what he did multiple times during the game defensively keeping A&M off first base.

When the leadoff goes 0-4, Ross goes 0-4, Ibarra hits into a clutch DP for A&M on a smoked ball and goes 0-4, and two outfielders look very overmatched at the plate what do you think the outcome will be in most games? Mengden goes 8, zero BB (did have a few HBP) and only gives up 5 hits the Tigers odds of winning are very low. SEC, it's not a candy arse league.
