Wolfenstein Nostalgia Thread

a few threads lately have made me think of the games that got me obsessed with PC gaming as a kid. I used to spend hours watching my dad play Wolfenstein 3D on our windows 3.0 PC and when I finally got to play, it was magic.
I still have nightmares about this guy:
then years later, Return to Castle Wolfenstein came out, a few months before Coke Vanilla came out. I was in 7th grade, my brother was a senior, we'd stay up all night that summer, each in our own rooms, drinking sweet vanilla coke, connected to the same happy penquin server, playing the greatest level of all time: Depot
and of course, everyone knows Enemy Territory. then Wolfenstein, which wasn't half the game RTCW or 3D was, but was still fun.
I just don't know what to think about the newest one coming out. set in the 1960's alternate history with the Nazis winning the war. I just hope it's less of the mechs from that trailer and more occult crazy nazi shite.

Hell yes. I was in the 4th grade when my dad installed it on our PC. I loved that game. I have no idea how many I times I replayed the first episode searching for secret push-walls, and whatnot. And then we bought the full game. I think it took me a year to finish the whole thing.
And then Spear of Destiny came out, and it was equally epic. For me the hardest boss was the 4-armed zombie with cleavers and a gatlin gun in his chest. One of Dr. Schabbs' miserable creations.
Looks like I'm going to have to install it and re-experience everything.

Oh, and regarding that first pic you posted... One does not simply fight Hans armed with only a pistol.
You bring out the heavy gun, open the door, start shooting and backing the frick up. Lure him into that secret room with health & ammo!
