I would say he's more of a Mongolian buffet. You get filled up with worthless filler and afterwards all you really want to do is take a shite to cleanse yourself.

I've worked in Ulan Bataar, Mongolia, the capital.

Their food is actually pretty good once you get past the whole "it's horse meat" stigma.....

Spent 2 days in the Azores on my way to Pisa. Horse isn't bad. Stringy.

Fermented horse milk is though. I was "forced" into drinking some, called kumis, at a wedding in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Imagine drinking a cup of buttermilk with the texture of a milkshake with three shots of vodka mixed in. It was all I could do not to gag. Of course, everyone was watching me to see my reaction as I drank to their "good fortune" toast to the bride and groom.

That wedding was on Saturday, September 8, 2001. We know what happened 3 days later.

Islam is the predominant religion is Kazakhstan. My Kazakh co-workers were aghast at what happened on 9/11. They kept coming up to me and apologizing for what their fellow muslims did. It got to be embarrassing.

Side story: With the 11 hour time difference between NY and Almaty, the 9/11 event happened in the evening, Almaty time. I was in my apartment watching it happen on satellite TV.

About an hour after the towers were hit, I got a call from the U.S. embassy telling me not to go to work the next day and to stay in my apartment and not open the door for any reason or anyone.

I tried to stay in but at about 4 PM the next day I couldn't stand it anymore. I decided to walk to the American embassy about a mile from my apartment just to see if anything was going on there.

About a quarter of a mile from the embassy I noticed all these Russian made tanks and Kazakh soldiers with AK 47's surrounding the embassy. I thought, "I'm f*cked! The muslims are laying seize to our embassy!" I turned around and went to my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Almaty and ate a late lunch figuring it might be my last good meal for a while.

Of course, it was the opposite. The president of Kazakhstan had ordered the military to protect the U.S. embassy "at all costs." When I went to work the next morning I was asked if I wanted a security guard to accompany me for the rest of my stay there. I declined.

I figured having two Kazakhs carrying AK 47's following me everywhere I went would draw more attention to me than if I just tried to "blend" in.

There are enough ethnic Russians in Almaty that if I dressed down, smelled like body odor and never smiled, I might be mistaken for a Russian and nobody would mess with me. It worked.

If it were a real threat, they wouldn't acknowledge it anyway...it would demolish alot of their positions in the markets around the world.

No doubt they are watching to see if anything comes of it to hedge their bets

Why would anyone be threatened by a commodity with a total market value of approximately $1.2billion? That is just plain silly.

present value, yes

potential future value -- that's another issue.

Even if Warren were considering bitcoin, he wouldn't publicly volunteer that information in any event

Your personal attacks reveal you don't have anything of substance to write about bitcoin.
