We should keep AFA if the price is right (ie pretty much the minimum with team options). He'd be a great guy off the bench for rebounding and defense. I wouldn't necessarily want him as a starter though.

Adding Burke, Martell Webster and Pekovic (longshot I know), with Ryno, Smith, Vasquez (Or Burke), Rivers and AFA coming off the bench is a roster with a lot of potential.

That's the thing. We had a bunch of wasted starter money on cut players this year (Lewis/Carroll). The guys who were starting in several spots were out of their league as starters, but that isn't their fault, it was a matter of circumstance. This year, we can bring in talent with that money to improve your starters. You now have 2 or 3 players who started an entire year to run your second team. They are already making role player money. Now let them be role players.

Totally agree.

Pekovic (longshot I know)

This is my #1 off season wish (along with drafting Porter). I went to a few Minnesota message boards and I saw some fans think that if any team throws at least $10 mil at Pek, they won't match. It's just up to us (or other teams) to decide if he's worth that $10+. Him and Anthony Davis could become the best big man duo in the league.
