I couldn't give a shite about how pretty the cars are. Yeah, they're great to look at and all, but when I'm playing I'm in bumper cam. They all handle the same, and that's all that matters to me.

GT6 confirmed today on their official website.
Surely this will be PS4 and we'll see some of the best graphics the PS4 has to offer this early in it's life tomorrow.

Be a big mistake if it is with the release window it would have before the PS4 launched but wouldn't surprise me if it's on PS3 with how long they take to develop.

Hopefully they wait until next fall so they can make big improvements.
I played Forza I & II and having been a big GT fan when I had a ps2, I bought GT5 when it came out for my ps3.
I am currently somewhere around 95% complete on GT5, and with the forza's I finished them all and played online extensively.
Bottom line is that while they both have strengths, forza is a better racing simulation. GT is more of a driving simulation. GT also lags behind on multiplayer because Forza had xbox live way before PS had something to support online racing. And the old online auction houses were the best along with spending hours making your car look like some crazy vehicle. Forza is the only thing I miss about xbox besides voice chat separated from games.

Meh, GT is still the better game.
GT 1,2,3,4 > Forza equivalent.
GT5 was a letdown, doesn't mean GT6 won't be back up to Gran Turismo standards.

Totally, GT5 released in November of '10. If the date remains the same, 6 will be released probably November / December this year, '13. In comparison, GT3 released in April of '01, and GT4 released in December of '04.
Whole new physics engine, aerodynamic, suspension, and tire model makes the game a lot different.
