in my experience i have always been disapointed in the "do all" setups with the different attachments. I prefere to get a tool specifically designed for the job I am doing.

Look at a Tanaka straight shaft trimmer. I just bought this one

and am very happy with it.

My Dad has an older Tanaka brush cutter that has given him no issues in 6+ years.

ETA: I chose Tenaka over Husqvarna based on reviews (both good), price (Tanaka about $100 cheaper) and warrenty (Husq-2 yr, Tanaka -7 Yr)
