youtube franklin bbq, you can probably adapt that to an oven
good suggestion. My method is very similar to franklin and the ribs come out amazing. You can probably adapt this to the oven if you want.
1. Trim the "flap" off the back side of the ribs.
2a. "sweet ribs" rub ribs with honey and apply rub consisting of 50/50 salt and pepper with about 1/2 tsp. of both onion and garlic powder and about a tsp. of paprika. Put brown sugar on ribs as well, you can apply as much or as little as you like.
2b. If you just want "salty" ribs skip the honey and brown sugar options above.
3. Bring smoker up to 250 - 275 and put ribs on grill with wood chips/chunks of your choice. Cook ribs for about 2 hrs. Open grill and give ribs a generous spray of apple juice or apple cider vinegar then add BBQ sauce of your choice and spray again. Let them go a few minutes to "melt" the sauce.
4. Spray foil with juice/vinegar and put ribs on foil and spray them again with juice/vinegar and put back in smoker for 2 - 2.5 more hours.
5. Remove ribs and let them rest for a bit before serving.
