Chris Jackson, Stanely Roberts, Shaq O'Neal just imagine if they were all on the same college team at the same time.
saw those 3 play together at Vandy and GA. Some spectacular moments, but definitely underachieving. Always wonder what would have been if there had been a second year with all 3 together...

The problem with that team (Shaq, Stanley Roberts, Chris, Maurice Williamson, Wayne Sims, Vernel Singleton) was just too many egos and not enough basketballs to go around. Chris would have been better off with a defense/rebound center who was a role player than he was with Shaq.
Chris had been by far the star the previous year, with only Rickey Blanton and occasionally Wayne Sims playing at his level. Going into the next year he still thought it was his team and that Shaq and the rest should be supporting him rather than challenging him for the leadership and spotlight.
Basketball is more than a collection of individual talents. It is truly a team game and everyone needs to know their role.
