Well, sure it would. He's on probation as we know, then he's arrested and charged with simple battery. Judge Jackson on her own accord adds restrictions to the probation due to the arrest and misdemeanor charge until Hill is convicted or the charges are dismissed.

All I'm saying is the added restrictions to Hill's probation is not probative or determinative of the ultimate outcome, that being whether his probation is revoked. That remains to be seen.

I never said it was. I said it was unlikely that she would do that if she later would revoke it.

Maybe it was for the arrest, maybe it wasn't. Like you said, it's all assumed.

We don't know.

For her to hand down more restrictions on an already active probation (that had it's own restrictions prior to her ruling) sounds more like this is what will stick, instead of revoking the whole works later. She didn't hand down more restrictions on a whim.

The guy didn't commit murder. Maybe the prosecutors will agree with the judge's decisions and respect it.
