I think Jay-Z a great rapper, but i really only thought he had singles until the black albumn and blueprint 3, that's the first albums i could listen to all the way through, and all his stuff since then has been good, he was just average rapper back in the day.

I remember at a family get together a few years ago*, a budweiser commercial comes on with Jay-Z in it, and the premise is that Bud is the king of beers and jay-z is the king of rap. My brother and I look at each other and nearly simultaneously ask the question: when the frick did Jay-Z become the king of rap?
