I played through KOTOR and then KOTOR2 like 3 months ago. Took some doing to get it all running properly, but it was something I wanted to do because of the restored content for KOTOR2. Playing through them was a sad mix of nostalgia and, well, sadness, because games like that are so few and far between.

I installed this mod,haven't gotten offthe ship to use it but I hear it is awesome.
