Only $1,549 off of MSRP? I'm thinking you can do better elsewhere.
Unless you can tell me somewhere that will beat it without factoring in a rebate, I don't think so. Any dealer that advertises a lower price has already factored in rebates into the price, plus they have ridiculous fees to add right back in.

Also consider the higher cost of a Prius.
Doesn't exist anymore. Any issue that would come up with the hybrid system is covered for 100k miles, and not since 2003 have there been issues with the hybrid system anyway.

Get her a Civic or Accord for thousands cheaper and you'll still have a very nice and dependable vehicle for her.
An Accord or Civic with nav and leather won't be thousands cheaper, and will almost cut the MPGs in half.

drives 700 or more miles a week
Gonna be pretty close. We will both be commuting from NOLA to BR for a few months, so the MPG is huge.

I never purchase a vehicle with a note that I can't double each month. That's my personal rule of thumb when buying a vehicle. ALWAYS PAY OFF EARLY.
Not everyone can do that unfortunately, so I'll just stick with the 0% which gives no incentive for early payment.

Honestly right now this is pretty freaking dumb. Why double your payments on basically free money?
