re: Benghazi Whistleblowers: Reinforcements told to stand down/Refusal of help

Probably been covered before, but what would be the purpose in not sending in help if it was available? Why would our govt just sit back and allow this to happen, then spread all these lies after the fact? The evidence is pretty damning that something shady was happening in my opinion. I just want to know why.
