The question is not do you think he is or he will be. I want to know what you actually want. You may add what you think the case is, but if we know what you want, that might explain your bias.

Do I want him to be the GOAT? YES
Do I think he will retire as the GOAT? Definitely maybe.

I honestly have no clue. I am the type of sports fan who likes to witness sports history. I only saw the end of MJ, so I definitely am hoping to be able to say I saw all of LeBron's career.

He won't be. Ever. It's an irrelevant question.

Yeah, just so I can say I witnessed the greatest play. + i hate all the criticism he gets even though he's actually one of the best role models in the NBA.

Don't want him to be the goat but sportswriters will keep voting him mvp. By the time he's done and will have 6-7 mvps. history will probably say he's the Goat.

Eh.

I grew up on Jordan.

So I want LeBron to be as close as possible...but NOT better than Jordan.

I'm hoping LeBron wins 6 championships+ but people hold the Mavs series against him why he's not better than MJ.

I honestly do not care. If people think he is GOAT, then great. If people think MJ is GOAT, then great as well. I just want to see LeBron James have an awesome career and accomplish greatness, GOAT or not. I want LJ to be LJ. Plus the whole GOAT thing is subjective anyways, there are always people saying things otherwise, like Bill Russel is the GOAT.

I don't really care.

He's a great player and probably the best of his era... the GOAT discussion is silly anyway.

As a fan, I never wanted anyone to eclipse the greatness of Michael Jordan. Then again, as a kid watching him, I had no idea MJ was the such an arrogant douche. I knew he was a super competitive guy obviously, but after his HoF speech it was obvious that the stories were true. Now, I'm fine with Lebron taking his place.
