Cuse missed a few years ago, but I see what you mean. This year's field doesn't have Hopkins or Princeton. Notre Dame is a favorite to make the finals, and Ohio St and Denver are seeded to make the Final Four.

That's great for the sport. Three teams in next year's Big Ten are in the field, all of them seeded (OSU, UMD, PSU). Cool time for the sport.

Do they use a selection committee?

that was 6 years ago

but they should've missed last year IMO. the only team worth a shite that they beat was Princeton. I don't really like them this year either. they had a couple losses to some bad teams, although they did split with Villanova and beat Notre Dame twice

Notre Dame has been good for a few years now, they've got a solid program and made the tourney the last 5+ years.

Denver has been on the quick rise since the program moved to D1. I mean last year, 3 of their 7 losses were to national champions Loyola by a combined 5 points, this year, they have 4 losses by a combined 6 points. Tierney knows what he's doing.

I just don't know what to think about Ohio State though. they've been waiting to break out for years now, they finally put together a great season, they and UNC are about as hot as you can get right now, but I just can't pick them until they show me a big signature win and prove they can play with the Terps, Duke, Cuse, etc.

cornell not getting a seed is just completely fricked up. 3 losses all by 1 point, one of those being to the number 1 seed on the road. they are number one in the laxpower computers and their SOS was higher than OSU and right there with Denver and Duke and if you look at the predicted scores vs. actual scores on Laxpower, they exceeded the predictions most of the time.
