I love the drama that this course produces, but like most of Pete Dye's tracks, there are still plenty of gimmicks to get in the players' way. I don't dislike Sawgrass as much as TPC La or Whistling Straights, but it's still pretty quirky.
Regardless, here's to a great week. Sucks that the year's "5th major" has to be played on Mothers Day.

Those 3 courses you listed are not Dye's best.
Crooked Stick is by far his best and where Pete and his wife play while living in Indy during the summer. Also, Dye has a hidden jewel he designed...it is on Rick Dee's(Disco Duck) land...a 9 hole course that is suppose to be incredible.
