How do you feel about Rose right now? I'm not trolling. I'm just curious how Bulls fans feel about him to compare to our own injury situation.

Thibs should do what Mark Jackson did with Lee. Let Rose come in after the first timeout for a minute or two and energize the home crowd.

Let me preface this by saying, the two injury situations aren't exactly the same imo.

Gordon is a very good player, but has only played about 50 games with New Orleans. He has been an all-star caliber player when healthy, but Rose has a couple advantages over Gordon within their respective fan bases.

Rose is from Chicago originally, has led his team deep into the playoffs and won an MVP award. I think those things give Derrick a little more leeway(sp?) with Chicago fans than Eric Gordon gets from you guys. Which is fair, because you guys are paying Gordon to play and he hasn't done a lot of that yet.

But to answer your question, the fan base is divided on this subject. Some people wanted him back the day he was cleared for contact. Others wanted him to return next season, just to make sure he was 100%. Personally, i'm somewhere in the middle. I want him back becasue we are a better team with him. But I also know that he is our franchise player for the next decade and if he comes back before he is ready and further injures himself, then we'll be screwed for two seasons instead of just one.

Sorry for tl;dr version.
