I really liked these movies pretty good story, not horrible acting and of course great soundtracks. In some ways I prefer part two but some days I could have lived with just one movie. What are others thought and if you haven't seen yet I highly recommend them !

Loved the first one...I was 13 when it came out & I remember I watched the video over & over again in high school. It came on TV late one night a few months ago and I stayed up until 3 a.m. watching it, again.
2nd one, not so much. From what I remember (I don't think I saw it more than a few times because it wasn't nearly as good), the music sucked, the plot wasn't there, and the acting was bad. But maybe I'd just matured past my fascination with Michael Paré and the misunderstood bad boy he portrayed in the first one.

Well it kinda felt like back to the future with the hint of a sequel at the end even tho there was no real plan for one then bam here's a sequel we had to think up. They never explained how he survived the crash either

The biggest issue with #2 is that his disguise was a ratty mustache. That's it. A mustache and he's in hiding?
But what a great song.
