I used the of ice and fire one without realizing there were two. When I tried to look something up on my phone one time I ended up on the GoT Wiki without realizing that I was not on the same one I'd used previously and remember thinking this isn't as good as I remember it being.

Then I realized there were two wikis for the show/book.

AWoIaF. I can get all the spoilers without reading the books.

I ended up finding spoilers/being spoiled by accidentally using A Wiki of Ice and Fire/Westeros Wiki. Oh well .

If you haven't read all the books I agree but if you're caught up then wiki of ice and fire is MILES ahead of anywhere else on the Internet.

I'd like to know just how many days worth of hours I've wasted on there. It really wouldn't surprise me if it was close to a month

wiki of ice
By a mile. Be wary of scrolling too far, I spoiled a major event trying to jog my memory.

I believe all of you are forgetting a little website called TigerDroppings. It is the place to go for crackpot theories and reader/nonreader thunderdome showdowns.

The best song of ice and fire conversations I've ever had have taken place in the crackpot thread. We really do have an amazingly knowledgable and cool population of ASOIAF fans on this site

Honestly I think my favorite part of this series is all of us testing and challenging each others knowledge of the material but always in a respectful humble way.

Not many topics inspire an environment for conversation like this series.

We're all extremely passionate but also very tolerable. We're all eager to teach while being even more eager to learn. I don't know maybe I'm just nerdy as hell but I think it's pretty fricking cool and unique.

They don't even have ADWD chapter synopses, yet. If they were up-to-date with all the material, then they could challenge AWOIAF

I cant say Ive checked the WHOLE internet (haha) but that crackpot thread is the BEST source of info and speculation I have found anywhere. Westeros, TOH etc are bigger but I cant search and read all those posts. Our thread distills and concentrates everything in a more manageable location for me (esp since I follow the OT, TR, MTB anyway). Stuff that originates elsewhere will eventually filter down to the crackpot thread I reckon.

TD wins again.
