2 points is 2 points no matter if you are dunking or taking it from 19 feet. Shaq shot 11% better than Hakeem did. The Rockets won that series because of what their supporting cast did, not what Hakeem did. They had stud 3 point shooters all around him. Shaq's supporting cast shat the bed.

Similar thing happened in last year's NBA Finals. LeBron played basically to his averages and Durant played better than his. Why did the Heat win? Supporting cast stepped up.

Your right, Hakeem's 33 pts and 12 rebounds didn't make a difference.
