Talked to 2 guys this past week and they told me it's looking more and more like he'll slip to rounds 1S or 2.

With that being said Justin deems signable and you have to question his motive of using wood bats if he's weighing both options seriously.

Without comparing the two this is basically your caliber Alex Bregman minus the injury his senior year. His hitting's not as flashy as Bregman's but his power is what teams will gamble on.

I think Longhi is the one we should watch. If there aren't any Hayden Jennings situations, we should be okay with the rest of the high school guys.

If he does drop that far, it's not out of the question for him to come here if he thinks he can eventually become a top 10 overall pick.

This is what gives his real intentions away. Nobody uses wood bats in high school unless you obviously want to impress the MLB folks.

What has the effect of the new MLB draft process been on college baseball.

I know the Red Sox can't steal "college locks" by taking them in the 50th and throwing huge money at them anymore.
