That was Dandy Don's depth chart not mine, I just added the freshmen to the end FWIW. Solid

Its completely wrong, though. Read the reports from Spring practice. Maclin is not even in the picture due to injury. Allen is starting, not Hunter.

Feist, btw, also moved over from LB to DE for the Spring. I forgot to add him.

So in Spring, we literally had 4 DEs (Rasco, Allen, Hunter, Feist) and one of those was a converted LB. We also played Lacouture there, but he is really a DT.

We are thin. This is a fact.

one game containing a running QB. They didn't do a very good job all season of getting to the QB consistently through the year.

Freshmen are usually a luxury. We'll be depending on them in 2013. That's not a good thing no matter how you spin it.

Depending on them for depth.. which is usually how Miles works anyways. Watch Bain and Bower show out.

Bain

Plays DT. Also he's not ready to play. I don't know where you got this idea that Bain plays DE. Did you know that he spent the last year playing offensive line? You think he can just walk in and play DT in the SEC after playing oline?

If any freshmen DTs will play, it'll be Lacouture and maybe Gilmore.

Herron, Beckwith, and maybe Bower will play at DE.

I think you're being a little overly optimistic, personally. But you have every right to be so whatever.

LaCouture played DE in the spring game because the DL was split between two teams. But he's got the body type that makes me believe he'll be a DT in the mold of Kyle Williams (not because both are white). Do you really think that he'll be playing DE, given his size and the number of quality DE recruits showing up for the fall?

D line depth is concerning, experience is not. Mingo didnt play much in 2010 and sam was injured like 4 games in. Hunter and rascoe played in every gane last season. Even though hunter played st, still better than not playing at all like sam his freshman year.

Debo and Kwon don't play middle linebacker, man.

Those guys aren't even going to start, btw.

they will end up starting. both of them.

Anyway, I was speaking of the LBs as a unit. We may be weaker at ILB but with how good the OLBs will be, I don't think you'll see much of a drop off from the unit as a whole

Mingo and Montgomery weren't as dominant in 2012 as some would like you to believe

What? Sam had 8 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss and was also SEC defensive player of the week twice.

I don't know man. In 2010 Reid, Mathieu, and Simon all played and played good.

In 2010, Kwon, Debo, Louis, Mills, and Eugene all played good.

Now it's time for the Dline depth to step it up.
