Ok we've seen what all three are capable of. Obviously Jordan and Kobe kept up their great play for years. If Lebron keeps this shite up will the non believers agree that he's the better at basketball than Kobe and Jordan?

No, he could win the next 6 championships in a row and people will still say Jordan is better, because of the "good ole days" nostalgia.

People will be able to lay out the two careers when Lebron is done and this will be a much more fluid argument. But shite...LBJ is unreal. Kobe and MJ are similar in my eyes. With MJ obviously being better. But without looking at stats...what do they do that Durant can't or isn't doing? Correct me if I'm wrong but their games all focus around scoring. MJ's defense to me separates him from Kobe and Durant. He had a more well rounded game on top of the scoring.

Lebron might even be MORE complete than Jordan. He for sure has to keep it up and might have to improve a little but if he does get even better I can easily see him being better than MJ. I don't understand how people don't understand that Lebron kinda has a good chance to be undoubtedly better than MJ. Is he right now? MAYBE. But if he gets any better look the frick out lol.

And for Kobe fans. The ONLY way Lebron doesn't end his career being better than Kobe is if he completely falls off when he gets a little older. What Kobe is doing at his age is unbelievable. But I don't think he could ever carry a team like Lebron can.

It's hardly nostalgia. The 1990s was the best and most competitive era of basketball. Today's game pales in comparison. Almost every other sport is better -- sans boxing -- but the 1990s was the pinnacle -- thus far -- of the game of basketball.
