Lol, Again, I never compared Palelei to anyone, someone else did and I disputed it. You don't have to take my word for his speed, NUC, Under Armor and the VO something Combines timed him. Readily available info on that. I don't like comparing HS kids to any College players. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses. The trick to Recruiting is projecting the kids to your system. I trust Frank to do this.

i just watch Palelei's highlights. he is not a shaker either! kid can go...better worry about him coming to LSU and being turned into a WR Kid has an awesome set of hands....

quote:

I do think Sione is better than those two, though, unless speed, strength, agility and ball skills aure not important. Maybe height is more important to some, but I don't share that belief.

Whether he is better than Brossette and Guice is up for debate...from what i understand Sione is 5'9 199, right? at 4.4 forty yard dash speed he definitely is faster than both Brossette and Guice but what they lose in speed they make up for with size, power, and awareness. Derrius is 5'11 205lbs at 4.5 and Broussette is 6 foot 215 lbs at 4.6.

Some people think that LSU is moving away from the Trindon Holiday type backs unless they have big hands....

Yes, Big hands! i was shocked too, Trindon was the fastest player in College Football...and he is one of the fastest players in the league.

Some people think that on this level the smaller backs with small hands have a higher propensity to fumble the football when they are struck by these bigger Defensive players.
