Possible Keeper League Trade- Giancarlo Stanton

There's a disgruntled owner in my league and he's looking to ship him. I wouldn't mind throwing out an offer for him, but I don't want to offend the dude with a lowball offer.
He's hurt and has been pretty terrible so far. He's also in a lineup that offers no protection. However, if he were to get traded to a decent team, his value could skyrocket.
What's realistic value for the guy in a keeper league? His value probably won't get any lower, so I'm looking to pounce.

I am assuming this is a 8 team league (maybe 10) and with 6 keepers apiece only 48 guys are being kept. I think you would have to offer a more sure fire keeper than Holliday (due to age) even though I would keep him or Lawrie.
In a keeper, injured Stanton is valued really highly. I made an offer for Stanton, and I thought it was more substantial than any of these and it was rejected.
