Their arnt slimes in turn 6. Its the briar patch its a very systemetic fight that has to be done properly or the bees will wipe you. You also can't get eaten by the big arse plant unless you have the been honeyed in teh latter phase of the fight. To not get eaten you sit in the briar patch because it can't suck you in. Your talking about turn 1 feeding slimes.

Feeding the slugs to the slimes is a terrible move though. DPS race is much easier to do.

There are slimes, they get spawned after the slugs during the last phase (<40% HP). The slugs can eat the slimes to get become powered up.
Also, using the briar patches is also a bad strategy. Have your party get behind the boss where the tank is, and have the marked person move through the boss as the animation starts. They won't get eaten, but no one has to worry about briars.
