Jarrett Lee is the reason for our success past couple of years

Flashback to the Tennessee game in 2010. Jordan Jefferson gets raped by a shitty Derek Dooley Defense so they put in Lee. He gives the passing offense a spark with 185 yards and we escape with a narrow victory.
Despite the win and a 5-0 record, no one respects LSU at this point. They don't even believe in themselves. Then comes perhaps the most important game in Les Miles' tenure.
Florida 2010. Total underdogs. We're going to the swamp and the gators are hungry for revenge after getting mauled by Alabama. Jarrett Lee continues to give the passing offense the spark it needs and throws the winning td pass at the end of the game with six seconds left to win 33-29. Absolutely no one was expecting this to happen.
Later in the season he seals the deal with a 50 yard pass to run the clock and beat Bama 24-21.
2010 was probably my favorite season under Les Miles. After the NC game in 2007, everyone said the only reason he could win was with Saban's players, and he proved them wrong with this incredible season. All we needed was a spark in the morale of the team, and that was what Jarrett Lee gave us by making some big plays in huge games.

20-30 years from now fathers will tell their children that they saw the great JL play in TS. The best that ever was

Well, this thread certainly was necessary.

Meh, you could do this with any player. Yes, he was successful, at times, and folded like a cheap suit, too. Couldn't handle any contact, and then became a pick-6 legend...Defense/Chavis thread, now there's a success agrgument..
