Something I would like to see with gaming consoles...

But I doubt it will ever happen...
I would really like to see them done in a traditional home theater component form factor. Would make them much easier to integrate in to a home theater setup.

Gabe made it pretty clear in multiple interviews that until they have something new to bring to the table, they arent making a new HL. They arent interested in making a sequel for the sake of a money grab. Gotta respect him for that.
Although I think the company's financials would be a lot better shape if he'd compromise just a tad on that issue.

In other circumstances, I'd agree with you, but just think back on how they ended Episode 2, and ask yourself "WTF????"
