anyone started catching specks on the beaches yet?
exams are over next week and hopefully i will be out there chasing them

I have no idea but you've got me wishing I was there right now and not stuck at work. I'll be out there memorial day weekend and they'll be on the beaches for sure.

I started working down there, two weeks ago. Been hitting the beach in Elmers Island, nothing. Been talking to the charter boat captains that drive us to work. They haven't been catching any good amount of specks, said they are working their asses off for half a limit.
Give it a week or two I would think.

some scattered folks gettin into em, but nothing consistent yet. sounds to me like its just starting. a little late cuz of the cool spring keepin the water temps down. A week or two and should be on!!

A couple different guides are reporting on the Sportsman that the Specks have just started showing up on the outside. So like stated above it should start picking up over the next 2 weeks.
