Anybody still playing their FIFA career?

Last night I picked this game back up for the first time in a few months. I have played 2 and a half seasons with West Ham (playing every game). I finished mid table the first two years but I'm on track for a Europa spot this year. Hopefully if I do I'll get picked up by one of the Big 6

I stopped playing it when a year into my career, I couldn't advance without the game freezing at the same date every date. Googled it, turned out it was a habitual problem for people so I said frick it cause I wasted multiple hours playing a game for one season and I didn't want it to happen again

I'm still playing FIFA 12. Took Crewe Alexandra all the way to the BPL and won back to back to back BPL titles and Champions League titles. Took about 10 or so seasons. Now trying the same with Macclesfield Town but using only scouting and youth players this time to build the team up. Not going to buy anyone. In season 2 right now in League 1 and it is already a lot more challenging this way

The quality of teams from League 2 to 1 isnt that much different. I'm currently 2nd in the table halfway through the season. It will start to get challenging when I get to the Championship with minimal roster changes from the beginning. You have so litle money that you cant afford a good scout (I have one that is 2 stars in both and is from Finland). I have 3 youth players he has found already and the two that are old enough to play start. I am currently trying to save as much cash as I can to get a better scout and really build.
