NFL teams were concerned about his multiple concussions. However the point about pro scouts not caring about production is valid. That doesn't mean kids won't prefer to go where they get the ball more.

I think you're starting to see kids more and more want to go to NFL factories over schools where they may "get the ball more". Kids are starting to see the bigger picture.

LSU has more guys in the NFL right now than A&M because LSU has been an elite program for over a decade while A&M was down, but any big program in a big conference can crank guys out to the NFL, don't kid yourself. A&M has had the #2 pick in 2 of the last 3 drafts. A player like Noil has just as much chance to get to the NFL From either school.

I dont believe that's true, but I get what you're trying to imply.

There's still a lot of questions about A&M's all-new staff. They havent turned into an NFL factory there like we are here YET, so just cant assume things will automatically happen.

just look at the NFL draft and see, guys come from all kinds of colleges major BCS teams and 1AA. From good teams and bad. I really don't see how you can say that a guy has less of a shot at any SEC school over another. It's not a random draw so using the # of players in the NFL fro each school is not relevant.

A&M has 30 players in the NFL, that's a pretty good number, especially considering how bad they have been lately. That LSU has more is great for fans bragging, but has no impact on any individual player from those schools getting to the pros, it just means that LSU has had more talent recently.

You speak with way too many assertions. In other words, you talk out of your arse too much. You have no idea what some of these guys base their decision on so stop pretending.

Just because a guy makes it from a small DII type of school doesnt mean he had the same "chance" of making the NFL as if he went to an SEC school. Coaching staffs, level of competition, exposure...all play big roles in things such as player development and NFL scouts taking notice.

Never said they dont have anyone in the NFL, but they are not considered one of the current NFL factories.

He probably should have said where small RB/WR go to die.

Shepard
Paul Turner
John Williams
Drayton Calhoun
Jakori Gore
RJ JAckson
Terrence Magee

on defense some of these types have shined. Brandon Taylor, Mathieu, Ron Brooks

Well to be fair, Noil is a much better prospect at WR than all those guys, outside of Shep.

Also that's like saying Odell Beckham wouldn't have been productive based on that same list.

I'm still convinced that Turner could have done well for us. Was sad to see him go. Jackson played but he was on two bad wheels by the end of his career. Magee still has time to show what he's got.

I don't think any of the others listed would have been any better on defense. You also missed Jhyryn Taylor.

#1 I don't see the writer's name.
#2 The writer basically admits the "list" is off internet rumors.

It's a modern day "journalist" more interested in gaining viewers than reporting news or at the very least truth.

Honestly how many undersized WR/RB have excelled at LSU? Josh Reed. Dom Davis? Skylar Green maybe ?

I mean really excelled

Especially in the Miles era.

Trindon Holliday
Are OBJ and Jarvis Landry undersized? (They aren't big.)

I never said i know what any one guy bases their decision on, there are multiple factors and each player is different. I do think LSU fans that think a player is hurting his chances at making the NFL by going to A&M are deluding themselves.
