yes, but it's also a signal for the "if it weren't for Les Shep would have been in New York for the Heisman ceremony" crowd...

This is, for a fact, a reason why some on here bash him at every opportunity. They have developed a kneejerk reaction against him because he has been used as a point man in the criticism of our offense and by extension the criticism of Les. Moreover, it fuels their desire for him to fail in the NFL. Their desire is for him to have no success so they can use it as ammo to defend Les against those who use Shepard as a point of criticism. For those of you in which this is the case, Shepard really has nothing to do with this so don't react against him because some are using his non-performance as a reason to criticize our offense/Les. Our offense has been an abomination. Jacob Hester and Charles Scott tweeted how our offense sucked.

he started to aggravate me when he began pouting and making excuses.

I'm not trying to be an arse...I honestly want to know because perhaps I missed it. When did Shepard pout or make excuses?

From my point of view, he has a lot to bitch about but I never really heard him do so. The only thing I really remember is him saying it was difficult for him to learn the system as a freshman and sophomore because he was going to multiple meetings all the time. He would learn RB plays, QB plays, WR plays, sit in on RB meetings, QB meetings, WR meetings, and it was somewhat overwhelming.

Which is a really pathetic measuring stick to criticize the program.

Haha this is the biggest bs ive ever heard. No one wants him to fail. They just know hes not going to do much in the nfl. He cant catch, hes not very big or very fast.

Shep wants to play in the nfl. The coaches gave him the best opportunity. He was just our 4th or 5th best wr. Plain and simple. He was never going to play qb. Claiborne, ware, magee, and randke were better hs qbs.

What RB did Shep think he should have taken carries from and what WR did he think LSU should have benched so he could have played more?

I hope the kid makes it somehow, but the NFL not even bringing him to a camp or drafting him in a weak offensive player draft should tell anyone with a brain that we aren't talking about player misuse in college but player misevaluation coming out of high school.

I dont hate him. I feel sorry for him.

It's pretty clear this dont draft me is CYA stuff.
