Most. But not all.
And by staying until Sunday, you force a team to stay in a hotel an extra night (what if the hotel can't accommodate them?) and feed an entire team for an extra day. The rules are set up to keep series at 3 days...they are uniform and equally applied to everyone. I see no problem.
