regardless of what people say, his Friday shows the day before a game were unbuddylievable

i actually listened for a while on monday. something about the cracking of AM sports talk is awesome to me. granted, the show left a lot to be desired. he was interviewing billy cannon. im sure they man has some unreal stories and id love to sit somewhere in person and hear them but it was awful radio

Why? What could Cannon be saying at this moment that is news worthy or interesting that we haven't already heard from him?

I wondered the same thing. It took so long for him to answer the simplest of questions. For being on, Buddy was going to give him a fried turkey and asked if he could eat it. Cannon had to take you on a journey of doctor visits letting you know what they said about his diet restrictions and mentioning that his son fries turkey really well before finally saying, "yes I can eat that"

The best thing Buddy ever had was back in the mid-90s when he had the late Friday night show from the parking lot outside the stadium on the nights before home games

I remember when he did a show at Linebackers the night before games.....I guess that was circa 98-99.

This story is a perfect summary of why Buddy is where he is after 25 years...on a crappy station with a crappy signal that nobody cares about.
