He was never a Percy Harvin (or even Early Doucet) style athlete. He was a guy who made things happen as a QB in high school. Could he have succeeded at LSU playing QB? Who knows. He certainly could have had success somewhere in college as a dual-threat QB.
Can he play QB in the NFL? Probably not, but that never should have been a reason not to play him at QB at LSU.

quote:you sound as retarded as a gump. You know shep was given a chance at QB when he got to LSU. and from all the sources i have talked to say, he could throw the larger size college ball like he could the high school ball. hell i looked back at his HS tape and he threw very wobbly passes.
