Hands down the best movie of the year. Scenery was great, the little kids were excellent, and Matt McConahey(sp?) put in the best acting job of his career. Great movie.

I really question the title - just don't see how that would entice people to see the movie. That said, the reviews have been great so far. I'm not a MM fan but I'm going to see this one...

Mud has a 98% on Rotten Tomatoes, not exactly crazy to say it may be end up being the best movie of the year, it's definitely the top of the year so far, IMO.

Yeah I've heard it's really good, probably gonna catch a matinee tomorrow. Jeff Nichols is beginning to make a name for himself.

Its pretty damn good. Had some friends work on it, lots of LR bands are used in the movie.
The title fits perfectly, sure its the guys name, but the movie is also about rural river life so there's that too.
Really does a good job showing what its like being 14. Confusing, you think you know how things are, but are really just naive and and too young to be jaded.

Finally got to see it. Great movie. Certainly the best film I've seen this year. I think it's going to hold up as a top movie of the year unless there's some unreal films coming this fall.. I'm already looking forward to seeing it again.
