We would be sitting pretty in first place. Youre now on notice nl central..we gave you a head start, but the division will be ours by all star break

we're getting the whole band back together.

Just for fun, read the last sentence in the 3rd paragraph about Matt Moore More david price and cubs speculation

His first go round he had hipster glasses...this go around he has hipster glasses with a touch of bidness sharp sideburns. The hitters are mesmerized by his style and handsomeness

Nice back to back from Ransom and Hairston last night.

Ransom's defense has been really good at 3B. He made a play last night that saved the inning for James Russell on Gyorko's grounder. I positive Cody Ransom.

I know you're saying this tongue and cheek, but the Cubs really haven't been that bad this year. How many combined save opportunities has Marmol and Fujikawa blown this year that resulted in Cubs losses? 3, 4?

I have Gregg on a fantasy team so I may be blind in saying this, but I don't see how there is anyway they don't give him a chance to run with the closer job - meaning not going to someone else immediately once he blows a save or when Fujikawa comes back.

I think the Cubs starting rotation has been on top of the NL this year. We're not hitting a ton and we can't keep leads.

Gregg has been a surprise. The bullpen has blown 6 or 7 saves and think we only won 2 of those. Bullpen is solely to blame for some heart breakers. Hopefully law of avgs bring us them back up

Starting pitching has been really good. Some consistency lately in the bullpen. Next up, RISP. Once we straighten that out.

5 of the last 7

cubs had a brutal first month, been nice to catch up with the other dregs of the NL (pads and marlins)

I really do think it will be by committee. I was surprised they didn't try their hand with that lunatic aceves when boston placed him on waivers

I'm not sure what I was supposed to get out of that Matt Moore/David Price article. David Price is gone in 2014...and?

We could easily be in first if we could close a game

just for fun, another talking head connecting price to the cubs. And if you juxtapose that with the speculation that profar would be in a package for gincarlo stanton that really doesn't leave the rangers with the pieces to get price. (based off the comment of 'after price is traded to the cubs or rangers.'

I'd rather talk about next year already, wasn't much more to it than that.
