How is a platlet-rich plasma injection not cheating?

Steroids give people unfair advantages but are very unhealthy. Why is this different just because it isn't unhealthy. To me it is still an unfair advantage to those trying to come back from healing an injury. Is this just a case of medical technology?

Steroids aren't a banned substance from sports for being unhealthy.
BTW Deca is pretty good for the human body with very little side effects.

yep
HGH is allowed in some recovery scenarios as well. (maybe not in sports though)
If it helps you heal faster but has no long lasting advantages other than bringing you back to normal, it shouldn't be illegal IMO.

I had an allergic reaction to Decadron that kept few in the hospital for a few days

Of course I don't look like I took steroids, I'm just saying not all steroids are equal.
I just know a lot of anti-aging clinics give shots for helping joints and skin/muscle rejuvenation and some hospitals are starting to give shots to increase recovery times for healing.

You are healing yourself, not elevating your (baseline)performance.
