Have to laugh my arse off about all the protestations of "sin against God", slamming Obama, etc.
It's mostly what I expected.
Too bad your God doesn't teach compassion, acceptance and love of neighbor. Oh wait, he does and you just choose to ignore it and instead focus of some bullshite piece of anachronistic prejudice.
Yeah, and let's forgot about "home of the free". Free to who, the folks you deem as acceptable and not living in sin? Who the frick do you think you are to have this power over others?
Regardless, it shows what ignorance exists about human sexuality and behavior. Then again, I am sure that many of your ancestors thought nothing of enslaving black men. That was surely one of the most immoral realities of society but neither you nor your 'neck ancestors gave a good Goddamn about it.
Like a lot of folks have said, people should be free to live as who they are and not according to you and this really capricious and hateful God of whom you speak.

Tell the devil about how unjust God is when you meet him. If you can't see the wrong in one man poking another man up his poop shoot, then you are just plain stupid. God hasn't changed and he almost completely destroyed all humanity when they committed this sin in the past. Ever heard of Sodom and Gamorah? Yes you have. So your ignorance is not going to be an excuse. But in your defense, in the last days, mankind will turn back to this evil and think that every thing is fine. Sadly to say, it is not and the people who do this are going to be in deep cockca.

quote:The motto of the progressive left for decades. Don't actively support homosexual lifestyles? You must be silenced, vilified and eradicated as unacceptable. Don't go out of your way to espouse every conceivable environmental alarmist proclamation? You must be silenced, vilified and eradicated as unacceptable. Don't eagerly embrace the notion that everyone deserves to have every whim met by the state at taxpayer expense? You must be silenced, vilified and eradicated as unacceptable.

It is galling how many times we have to listen to the people clamoring for tolerance, acceptance, and respect for all points of view telling everyone who disagrees with them to shut up under threat of hate crime prosecution. When are we going to hear a liberal stand up with a national audience and demand that we as a nation show respect for diversity and all points of view and give this same degree of love and tolerance to, say, the Tea Party?
It's easy to be passionate about someone's freedom of speech when you agree with them. It's when they don't agree with you that is the real test. And your reaction to the people who disagreed with you is pretty much exactly the same as their reaction was to Jason Collins. Pot, meet kettle.
